Sonas Bathroom Giveaway Terms and Conditions

Important: This is a free, in-store-only prize draw. It opens at 9.00 am on Monday 14 September 2026 and closes at 5.00 pm on Saturday 10 October 2026. The winner will be announced no later than Saturday 24 October 2026.

1 Promoter

The promoter is Wogan Build Centre Limited, North Road, Drogheda, Co. Louth, A92 T20W, Ireland, referred to in these Terms and Conditions as the Promoter. Sonas is the supplier or brand of the prize products and is not responsible for administering the giveaway unless expressly stated otherwise.

2 Eligibility

The giveaway is open only to individuals who:

• are aged 18 years or older when they enter; and

• are ordinarily resident in the Republic of Ireland.

Employees of the Promoter, their immediate family members, agents, suppliers directly connected with the giveaway, and anyone professionally associated with its administration may not enter. The Promoter may request reasonable proof of age, identity and residency before confirming a winner.

3 Giveaway period

The giveaway opens at 9.00 am on Monday 14 September 2026 and closes at 5.00 pm on Saturday 10 October 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be accepted. The closing date will not be extended unless circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control make an extension unavoidable.

4 How to enter

To enter, an eligible participant must complete the official giveaway entry form and submit it in the designated entry box in store at Wogan Build Centre, North Road, Drogheda during the giveaway period. Entries cannot be submitted online, by post, by telephone, at another Wogan Build Centre location, or through a third party.

No purchase is necessary. Only one entry per person is permitted. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, duplicated, fraudulent, submitted on behalf of another person, or otherwise fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions may be disqualified.

5 The prize

There is one prize. The winner will receive the following Sonas bathroom products, with an aggregate retail value exceeding €5,000:

• one Corta wall column, with a choice of colour from the options offered by the Promoter;

• one Corta 50 cm or 60 cm wall-hung unit, with a choice of size and colour from the options offered by the Promoter;

• one Base comfort-height, fully shrouded, close-coupled WC;

• one Echo round mirror, in either the 600 mm or 800 mm option;

• one Inez basin mixer, with a choice of colour from the options offered by the Promoter;

• one Mirage 800 mm wetroom panel, with a choice of colour from the options offered by the Promoter;

• one Alita Shower Kit 1, with a choice of colour from the options offered by the Promoter;

• one Slate shower tray in the fixed size of 1400 mm by 800 mm, with a choice of colour from the options offered by the Promoter; and

• one each of a Hakk range toothbrush holder, towel holder and toilet roll holder, with a choice of colour from the options offered by the Promoter.

All colour, finish and size choices are limited to the standard options expressly identified above and offered by the Promoter when the order is placed. Product images used in promotional material are illustrative. The written product description in these Terms and Conditions determines the prize.

6 What the prize does not include

Unless the Promoter confirms otherwise in writing, the prize does not include:

• installation, fitting, plumbing, electrical work, labour or professional advice;

• removal or disposal of any existing bathroom;

• tiles, flooring, lighting, decoration, additional building materials or any product not listed in section 5;

• alterations to the property or to its plumbing or electrical systems; or

• delivery. The prize will be made available for collection from Wogan Build Centre, North Road, Drogheda. If delivery is requested and agreed, any applicable charge must be paid by the winner in advance.

7 Changes upgrades and additional products

The winner may request a different product, an upgrade, an alternative size or finish, or additional products or services. Every requested change or addition is subject to availability and the Promoter's written approval. The winner must pay in full any price difference and all related charges before the relevant item is ordered. The Promoter will confirm any additional cost before placing the order.

The winner is not required to purchase an upgrade or additional item. No refund, store credit or cash payment will be given if the winner selects an alternative of lower value or does not take one or more elements of the standard prize.

If a listed prize item is unavailable when the order is placed, the Promoter may provide a reasonably comparable Sonas substitute of equal or greater retail value. A substitution made by the Promoter will not create a right to a cash alternative.

 

8 Winner selection notification and announcement

The provisional winner will be selected in a fair random draw from all valid entries. Each valid entry will have an equal chance of being selected.

The Promoter will contact the provisional winner using the details on the entry form and, after eligibility has been verified, will announce the winner no later than Saturday 24 October 2026. The announcement may include the winner's first name and county and may be made in store, on the Promoter's website, and on the Promoter's social media channels.

The provisional winner must respond within seven calendar days of the first contact attempt and provide any eligibility information reasonably requested. If the provisional winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts, does not respond on time, is ineligible, has supplied inaccurate information, declines the prize, or otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter may withdraw the offer and select an alternative winner by the same random method.

The Promoter's decision is final in relation to the administration of the giveaway, subject to applicable law. The winner's first name and county will be available on reasonable request for a limited period after the announcement.

 

9 Claiming and ordering the prize

The winner must attend or otherwise liaise with Wogan Build Centre, confirm all permitted product selections, approve any additional charges, and place the complete bathroom order no later than 5.00 pm on Friday 11 December 2026. This deadline is a condition of the prize.

If the winner does not complete the order by that deadline, the winner may forfeit the prize and the Promoter may select an alternative winner. Product availability and normal manufacturer lead times will apply after the order is confirmed. The Promoter will provide an estimated collection date and will notify the winner of any material delay.

The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged, sold or assigned before collection. There is no cash alternative. The Promoter will never require the winner to pay a fee simply to claim the standard prize. Payment is required only for a winner-requested change, upgrade, additional product or service, or an agreed delivery charge.

 

10 Measurements suitability and warranties

Before the order is placed, the winner is responsible for checking that the products, fixed tray size, selected unit size, measurements, plumbing arrangements, access requirements and finishes are suitable for the intended property. The winner should obtain professional measurement and installation advice. The Promoter is not responsible for a winner's incorrect measurements or selections.

Applicable manufacturer warranties and the Promoter's usual product terms will apply. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

11 Personal data and publicity

The Promoter will use the personal data supplied on entry to administer the giveaway, validate entries, verify eligibility, contact and announce the winner, arrange the prize, prevent fraud, and meet legal or regulatory obligations. Personal data will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy at https://www.wogans.ie/privacypolicy.

Entering the giveaway does not constitute consent to receive marketing. Contact details will not be used for electronic direct marketing unless the entrant has given separate, clear consent. Any photograph, interview or further promotional participation involving the winner will be subject to the winner's separate agreement.

12 Disqualification changes and cancellation

The Promoter may disqualify an entrant where it reasonably believes that the entrant has breached these Terms and Conditions, provided false or misleading information, interfered with the entry or draw process, or acted fraudulently or unfairly.

​

If circumstances outside the Promoter's reasonable control materially affect the fair or safe operation of the giveaway, the Promoter may make the minimum necessary amendment, suspension, postponement or cancellation. Any material change will be communicated through the same channels used to promote the giveaway where reasonably practicable. A low number of entries will not, by itself, justify extending or cancelling the giveaway or withholding the prize.

13 Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for loss caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control or by a winner's failure to follow product, measurement, safety or installation instructions. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

14 Social media disclaimer

If the giveaway is promoted on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or another social media platform, it is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with that platform. Questions and claims about the giveaway must be directed to the Promoter.

​

15 Governing law

These Terms and Conditions and the giveaway are governed by Irish law. The Irish courts will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights available to consumers.

​
